According to a Reuters report in July 2026, several top international law firms released their latest fiscal year results:


Linklaters (fiscal year ending April 30, 2026): US profits increased by 39%, global pre-tax profit increased by 11.6% to £1.2 billion (approximately $1.61 billion), revenue increased to £2.47 billion (approximately $3.32 billion), and equity partner profit (PEP) reached £2.48 million (approximately $3.33 million). Profits in Asia increased by 36%, while Europe and the UK saw increases of 10% and 7%, respectively.


HSF Kramer: In its first fiscal year since the transatlantic merger of Kramer Levin in New York and Herbert Smith Freehills in June 2025, revenue reached $2.407 billion, profit was $850.8 million, and PEP was $2.05 million. The global CEO stated that this performance exceeded the targets set at the time of the merger by more than double, and plans for further expansion in Texas, Washington D.C., and Silicon Valley.


A&O Shearman: Pre-tax profit rose to $1.6 billion, while revenue remained essentially flat at $3.7 billion. A Wells Fargo survey indicates that large U.S. law firms will see average revenue growth of 12.6% by 2025.
